How the Playoffs Work
Qualification (Constitution 3.1): At the end of the league stage, franchises are ranked on the points table. A special Fair Play Showdown is played first, between the city with the highest Fair Play Points and the city with the lowest Penalty Points (Penalty City Saver). After the Showdown, the top four (4) franchises on the final table qualify for the Playoffs.
Bracket (3.2):
Qualifier 1: Rank 1 vs Rank 2 (winner goes straight to the Grand Final)
Eliminator: Rank 3 vs Rank 4 (loser is knocked out)
Qualifier 2: Winner of Eliminator vs Loser of Qualifier 1
Grand Final: Winner of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Qualifier 2
Champion (3.3): The winner of the Grand Final is declared Champion of UPL Season 2.
Match format (3.4): Same as the league stage, unless explicitly modified by UPL Management.
